Meet the Team
Jeff Loftus, D.D.S.
Following graduation from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, Dr. Jeff Loftus moved back to Rapid City to practice dentistry in his home town. He continues to pursue advanced dental education in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and sedation. The Las Vegas Institute conferred a fellowship upon Dr. Loftus for his work in cosmetic dentistry and full mouth reconstruction.
He is a member of the International Academy of Comprehensive Aesthetics, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, the South Dakota Dental Association, the Black Hills District Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
Dr Jeff Loftus and his wife Amy have three children, Brock, Breana, and Brishae. They enjoy outdoor activities together in the Black Hills like skiing, hiking, and boating. In addition Dr Jeff Loftus is a pilot and an avid golfer.
Ron Loftus, D.D.S.
Dr. Ron Loftus graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He went on to serve eight years in the United States Air Force Dental Corps with tours in Southeast Asia and Germany, followed by service in the Air Force Reserves where he attained the rank of Lt. Colonel.
He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the South Dakota Dental Association, the Black Hills District Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. As one of the trusted dentists in Rapid City, SD, Ron is committed to staying at the forefront of dental advancements.
In his free time, Ron enjoys spending time with his wife, Cheri, and their children and grandchildren. He is passionate about serving the Loftus Dental Rapid City community.
Rob Loftus, D.D.S.
Dr. Rob Loftus earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Neurobiology at Colorado State University. While at CSU, Rob worked in research coauthoring multiple papers published in the field of neuroscience. He also taught in several undergraduate and graduate Biology, Human Anatomy, Human Dissection and Neuroanatomical courses at the university. He went on to complete his advanced dental training at the University of Colorado in Denver.
Rob’s extensive educational background has given him a passion for patient care using evidence based dentistry and the most current training and techniques. He continues to expand his dental training through Spear Education, the Academy of General Dentistry, and other continuing educational opportunities. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
He and his wife Tera are Rapid City natives and have four children; Thomas, Niccole, Isla and Oliver. They love spending time as a family taking advantage of the Black Hills activities including playing at the park or hiking, climbing, biking, or fishing.
